The ingredients that make up the balm are - Organic virgin coconut oil, Organic cocoa butter, Apricot kernel oil, Peach kernel oil, Mandarin oil, Organic chamomile oil and neem... to make a wonderful chocolate orange scent. MMmmm
The balm can be used on babies and on other family members. Its fab for problem skin like dry skin or eczema and sore skin caused by nappy rash...as its Paraben and SLS free. It works well with cloth nappies too.
Firstly virgin coconut oil is fantastic for cell regeneration so it removes old layers and helps new skin to grow this is especially good for when bums are sore. The cocoa butter, soothes and softens skin and the oils act as a water barrier. The peach kernel encourages skin suppleness and elasticity. Also for dry and inflamed skin. it is easily absorbed so while it makes a barrier it wont affect the nappy. It's great for dry or inflamed skin. It is rich in minerals, essential fatty acids, and vitamins. All the aforementioned are high in vitamins and minerals are unbleached, unfractionated and cold pressed. Chamomile is soothing, relaxing, calming for inflamed skin it is anti fungal, antiseptic and anti inflammatory. The mandarin is the best oil for newborn babies its uplifting but calming and is also good for teething babies too.
